Bogand© Ceremony Highlights Commitment to Republican Values

Bogand©: The constituted bodies of Gnagna Province gathered on Monday at the Bogand© courthouse for the solemn raising of the national flag. The ceremony was presided over by the Secretary General of Gnagna Province, Mendien dit Moussa Soma, in the presence of all the constituted bodies, thus marking their shared commitment to national sovereignty, unity, and respect for the institutions of the Republic.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the atmosphere was imbued with solemnity and patriotism as the national flag was raised at the Bogand© High Court. This act served as a reminder to all the sons and daughters of Gnagna of their duty of loyalty and service to the Nation.

Following the raising of the colors, carried out by a member of the Penitentiary Security Guard (GSP), the President of the Bogand© High Court, Mr. Ti¨rob¨man¨ Ars¨ne Som©, presented his department. On this occasion, he reiterated that the Bogand© High Court is a court of first instance responsible for administering justice in the name of the Burkinab¨ people, in accordance with the laws and regulations in force.

The president explained that the court is structured around four essential services for litigants. These include the administrative office and the registry, which handles administrative management, procedural monitoring, coordination with the public prosecutor's office, and representation of the public's interests. Additionally, the civil and commercial division has jurisdiction over disputes between individuals, family and inheritance matters, as well as commercial disputes, thus contributing to social peace and legal security in the province.

The Bogand© High Court also plays a central role in handling criminal cases, protecting citizens' rights, and ensuring equitable access to justice, despite a sometimes challenging security and logistical environment. The presiding judge reassured users of the commitment of all judicial staff to providing a high-quality, accessible, and impartial public justice service.

Speaking at the event, the Secretary General of Gnagna Province, Mendien dit Moussa Soma, expressed his gratitude to all the constituted bodies for their mobilization and participation in representing the nation. He commended the resilience of the state employees and all those present, urging them to continue giving their best in service to the people and the nation, despite the challenges.

The ceremony concluded on a note of renewed commitment to republican values, social cohesion and the harmonious functioning of institutions in the province of Gnagna.
