Nahouri Province Calls for Greater Sacrifices During National Colors Ceremony

Gourma: The High Commissioner of the Nahouri Province, Sie Aristide Mohamed Kam, led a significant event on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in P´, where he presided over the ceremonial raising of the national flag. The occasion served as a platform for him to urge the province's key players to increase their sacrifices, highlighting the ongoing mission for public servants.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was attended by prominent figures from Nahouri province and members of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) of the P´ garrison. This marked the second annual ceremony dedicated to the national flag at the Nahouri provincial headquarters.

The ceremony's key moments included the singing of the victory anthem, the flag raising, and an address by High Commissioner Sie Aristide Mohamed Kam. In his speech, Kam praised the stakeholders for their participation and interest in the ceremony.

The High Commissioner called on various societal sectors and established bodies to enhance their contributions to fortify the achievements made thus far. He highlighted the importance of collaboration to tackle the upcoming challenges effectively.

Sie Aristide Mohamed Kam also appealed to state employees to remain mindful of their responsibilities and advocated for social unity. He emphasized the importance of strengthening bonds within the community and between the community and the Defense and Security Forces (FDS).
