Passore: The Provincial Directorate of Preschool, Primary, and Non-Formal Education (DPEPPNF) of Passore hosted an official flag-raising ceremony for February, organized by local authorities. During the event, the High Commissioner of the province encouraged staff to uphold their daily commitment to civic engagement.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony saw a significant turnout from administrative authorities, heads of decentralized services, civil society, and students. The event was led by Daouda Sangare, the High Commissioner of Passore, who commended the strong participation and urged everyone to continue this spirit of civic duty and citizenship.
Participants sang the national anthem in the Moore language, emphasizing patriotic commitment and social cohesion. The High Commissioner highlighted the importance of student involvement, noting their discipline and active participation, which played a key role in the ceremony's success.
Mahamoudou Kiogo, the Provincial Director of the DPEPPNF, expressed his appreciation to the provincial authorities for recognizing the contributions of his department. He reaffirmed the education sector's commitment to supporting reforms, such as introducing English from CE1, integrating ICT and trades into the curriculum, and enhancing civic education to develop responsible citizens.
