Toece: The Special Delegation of the commune of Toece in the province of Bazega convened on February 6, 2026, for its first extraordinary session of the year. The agenda centered on environmental preservation and enhancing communication channels for improved accountability with the population.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting was presided over by Harouna Nana, President of the Special Delegation. Four main points were discussed, including the presentation of the PONASI project, which focuses on preserving the 354,781-hectare ecological complex spanning Kabore Tambi National Park, Nazinga ranch, and the Sissili classified forest.
The session also examined new communication strategies to improve the municipality's accountability to its residents. The adoption of a new communication plan aims to increase transparency and facilitate effective management within the local community.
The meeting highlighted the importance of communication in local governance, with a mission from the Burkina Information Agency in attendance. A review and subsequent resolution adoption addressed key management aspects of the municipality.
