The Race Covered A Distance Of 3 Km X 2 Km, Linking The Piela Town Hall To The Town's Technical High School. This Sporting And Civic Initiative Mobilized Members Around The Values Of Solidarity, Health, And Resilience.
According To Burkina Information Agency, In A Friendly Atmosphere, Accompanied By Music, The Educators Of The Piela CEB (Community Education Center) Enthusiastically Set Off On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, At Precisely 4:00 PM, Along The Route Connecting The Town Hall To The Technical High School, The Finish Line Located Approximately 3 Kilometers Away, Before Making The Return Journey.
Before The Starting Signal, The President Of The Mutual Aid Association, Ms. Bahanla Mano/Tankoano, Welcomed The Participants And Guests. She Explained The Purpose Of The Initiative, Emphasizing That This Popular Cross-Country Race Aims To Strengthen Cohesion Among The Members Of The Association, Promote Health Through Sport, And Reinforce Ties With The Community. She Then Officially Started The Race To The Cheers Of The Participants.
The Ceremony Was Also Attended By The 2nd Vice-President Of The Piela Special Delegation, Ms. Bahanla Damoalga/Lankoande, Who Came To Show Her Support For The Initiative And Encourage The Educators In Their Efforts To Promote Social Cohesion.

Actively Participating In The Event, The Head Of The Piela Basic Education District (CCEB), Mr. Matthieu Ouedraogo, Thanked And Congratulated All The Participants For Their Participation. He Indicated That This Initiative Is "A Way For Educators To Show That, Despite The Challenges, They Remain Resilient And Ready To Move Forward In The Same Spirit As The Authorities."
