SOSUCO Makes A Significant Donation To The Faso Mªbo Initiative

Banfora: The Comoe Sugar Company (SOSUCO) Donated Funds To The Faso Mªbo Initiative In Banfora On Friday. This Act Of Solidarity Consisted Of 1,000 Molds, Two Cartons Of Sugar Cubes, And Five Drums Of Used Motor Oil, Two Of Which Were Delivered On-Site To Support The Paving Stone Production Activities.

According To Burkina Information Agency, The Director General Of SOSUCO, Djakardja Ouattara Hema, Stated That This Contribution Is Part Of The Company's Commitment To The National Dynamic Initiated By The Highest Authorities In The Country. "We Have Observed The Progress Of The Presidential Initiative Faso Mebo At The National Level, Which Is Providing Relief To The Population. To Support This Vision Of The President Of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, SOSUCO Has Decided To Contribute," He Explained.

The Managing Director Explained That After Internal Analysis, The Company Opted For Concrete Material Support: "We Provided 1,000 Molds And Sugar To Support Those Making The Paving Stones, As Well As Five Drums Of Used Motor Oil. Two Drums Are Already Available And The Other Three Will Follow," He Added.

Mr. Hema Also Announced The Organization Of Staff Into Teams To Allow Each Worker To Participate At Least Once In This Collective Effort. The 1,000 Units Donated Will Allow For The Rapid Production Of Paving Stones And More Efficient Work," He Indicated, While Also Expressing His Satisfaction With The Strong Mobilization Of SOSUCO Workers Who Came To Lend A Hand To The Local Workforce.

Taking Advantage Of The Opportunity, Mr. Barro Called On The Population, Public And Private Institutions, Economic Operators, Traders And Associations To Become More Involved, In Kind Or In Human Resources, In National Construction. "No One Will Come And Build Our Country For Us. We Must Rely On Our Own Energy, Our Means And Our Resources," He Reminded, Echoing The Message Of The National Authorities.
