According To Burkina Information Agency, The Event Was Themed "Four Years Of Management In A Context Of Resilience In The Face Of The Security Crisis: Assessment And Prospects For Sustainable And Harmonious Local Development." It Gathered Administrative Authorities, Technical Services, Partners, And Key Stakeholders Of The Municipality. The High Commissioner Of The Province Of Ganzourgou, Aminata Sorgho/Gouba, Was Represented By The Secretary General Of The Province, Mr. Harouna Karambiri.
Ms. Bazemo's Presentation Encompassed Reports On Health, Education, Water And Sanitation, The Environment, Housing, Finance, And Administrative Operations. The Annual Investments Were Outlined As 135,517,161 FCFA In 2022, 92,155,430 FCFA In 2023, 315,219,283 FCFA In 2024, And 106,346,693 FCFA In 2025. The President Of The Special Delegation Attributed These Achievements To The Collective Efforts Of The Residents, Local Leaders, Municipal Teams, And Partners, Despite Ongoing Security And Economic Challenges.
The Meeting Addressed Various Challenges, Such As Tax Evasion, Uncontrolled Public Space Occupation, Roadside Aggregate Collection, And Disruptions In The Drinking Water Supply. These Issues Sparked Discussions, Emphasizing The Need For Enhanced Collaboration Between The Municipality, Technical Services, And The Community.
Several Recommendations Emerged From The Discussions. Participants Advocated For Supporting Women Through Income-Generating Activities, Repairing Or Building A Well At The Meguet Health Center, And Promoting Awareness About Timely Tax Payments And Birth Registrations. Furthermore, They Encouraged The Town Hall To Improve Communication Regarding The Youth Promotion And Professional Integration (PIPJ) Service.
Expressing Satisfaction With The Community's Engagement, Ms. Bazemo Noted That "The Active Participation Of The Population Demonstrates A Growing Interest In The Management Of Municipal Affairs." She Emphasized The Importance Of Civic Responsibility In Tax Matters And The Mobilization Of Local Resources. Evelyne Nongnongo, Representing A Local Cooperative, Acknowledged The Transparency Of The Exercise, Which Provided Clarity On The Utilization Of Municipal Resources.
The Municipality Extended Its Appreciation To Its Partners For Their Support, And The Nearly Three-Hour-Long Discussions Concluded With A Commitment To Continue The Dialogue In The Following Year.
