Kenedougou: The new Imam of the Grand Mosque of Orodara, Abdoul Aziz Barro, received, on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at his home, a visit from the High Commissioner of the province of Kenedougou, Sadou Sakira, accompanied by a delegation. During this visit, the High Commissioner of the Kenedougou province, Sadou Sakira, presented his congratulations to the Imam, officially installed on February 10, 2026.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Sadou Sakira reaffirmed the support of provincial authorities for the Imam's spiritual and community missions. Mr. Sakira emphasized the importance of his role in promoting peace, social cohesion, and dialogue within the province.

In response, Imam Abdoul Aziz Barro expressed his deep gratitude to the provincial authority and reiterated his commitment to working for unity, tolerance, and local development, promoting the values of solidarity and living together in the community.
