Poa: Yagba Youth Urged to Become More Involved in Health Activities

Poa: Under the theme, "How Yagba's youth can get involved in health activities," this event was organized at the Yagba Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS) around a tea and discussion. This forum for exchange brought together many young people to reflect on their contribution to the health and well-being of their community.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was led by the head of the CSPS, Charles Lankoand©, who urged young people to get involved alongside health workers. He emphasized that young people can play a crucial role in raising awareness, improving sanitation, preventing disease, and promoting good hygiene practices within the community.

Speaking during the discussions, Ousmane Kabor©, a young person aware of their commitment, highlighted the symbolic significance of the meeting. 'While some people are preoccupied with Valentine's Day, we, the youth of Poa Yagba, have decided to come together for the well-being of Yagba and its inhabitants. That is what concerns us most,' he said.

On behalf of the youth, their representative Kabirou Bouda praised the initiative. He announced that, starting that evening, the youth of Yagba pledged to work for worthy health causes and to support the CSPS in its mission. He also pointed out that the topic under discussion enlightened young people about their responsibilities in community health, while expressing their gratitude to the major for his constant efforts in favor of the well-being of the population.

The meeting, which took place from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., concluded in a friendly atmosphere, with a renewed commitment from the youth to support local health initiatives.
