Sandbondtenga/Socioeconomic Development: ORCDS-K Establishes Municipal Coordination Office in Man©

Sandbondtenga: The provincial coordination of Sandbondtenga of the Regional Organization for Consultation and Socioeconomic Development of Kouls© (ORCDS-K) installed the municipal office of Man© on Saturday, during a public ceremony marked by the presence of several resource persons. Composed of 26 members, the municipal office is chaired by Pierre Sawadogo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, on this occasion, the provincial coordinator of Sandbondtenga of the ORCDS-K, Isma«l Sawadogo, reminded the members of their mission, which consists of strengthening local mobilization, supporting development initiatives, and consolidating social cohesion at the communal level. The members of the board each received a scarf symbolizing their role as resource persons in the community.

The speakers emphasized the importance of unity and collective commitment for local development and assured the new office of their support in fulfilling its mission. On behalf of his team, Pierre Sawadogo thanked the officials for the trust placed in them and pledged to work with loyalty and transparency for the well-being of the people. He announced the establishment of sub-sections in each village as well as the creation of a communication platform to strengthen the coordination of actions.

ORCDS-K is a civil society organization that works for social cohesion and endogenous development of the Kouls© population, particularly in the areas of peace, agro-sylvo-pastoralism, youth, employment, and professional integration.
