End of Civic and Patriotic Education for 1,580 Middle School Students in Korsimoro

Sandbondtenga: The president of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Korsimoro, Moumouni Sodr©, presided on Saturday over the closing ceremony of the civic and patriotic training (ECP) for the benefit of 1,580 students from the intermediate classes of Korsimoro, in the presence of parents of students.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the closing ceremony featured demonstrations by the students, showcasing the skills they acquired over six weeks of training. The students, from local high schools and colleges, participated in a program that covered themes such as discipline, hygiene, drug prevention, solidarity, and mutual aid.

Moumouni Sodr© congratulated the students for their dedication and encouraged them to act as "ambassadors of civic duty and patriotism wherever they may be." The initiative received positive feedback from parents, who appreciated the supervisors' efforts and supported the continuation and expansion of the ECP to all educational levels.

Parents, like Dassablaga Ou©draogo, noticed a positive change in their children's behavior at home, attributing it to the training. The ECP, implemented after the patriotic immersion of young high school graduates, aimed to reinforce love of country, civic-mindedness, solidarity, and community living among the youth.
