Ouagadougou: Burkinabe writer Maliki Zor© has published a new book entitled "The Defeat of the Stateless," a 127-page work that appeals to patriotic conscience and warns against the dangers of statelessness, "a cultural and historical abomination."

According to Burkina Information Agency, the book, published by Les ©ditions SankPlumes, addresses several major themes, including the negative consequences of easy money, the bleak end of stateless people, and human exploitation by imperialists with designs against their own country. It also highlights the resilience of a courageous people in the face of adversity.

In his analysis, Mr. Zor© emphasizes justice, asserting that "every compromise (with the enemy) is paid for on this earth." The book serves as a call for individual and collective responsibility amidst security and identity challenges, particularly within the Alliance of Sahel States (AES).

A certified high school and college teacher, author of four other books, and currently a doctoral student in educational sciences at Nanjing Normal University in China, Maliki Zor© draws inspiration from current national events and the socio-political realities of Burkina Faso and the AES region.

Through "The Defeat of the Stateless," the author appeals to his "brothers and sisters" for a sincere attachment to the motherland and awareness of the dangers linked to statelessness. He also invites the youth of Burkina Faso to support President Captain Ibrahim Traor© and the government to help restore Burkina Faso's image internationally.

The book is available in Ouagadougou, particularly in the Zogona district and at Joseph Ki-Zerbo University.
