Koudougou: A large delegation from Nandiala, a rural commune located 25 km east of Koudougou, showed its support for the national construction dynamic with a donation of 80 tons of granite, AIB observed.
According to Burkina Information Agency, guided by the development vision championed by the President of Burkina Faso, the sons and daughters of Nandiala did not travel to Koudougou empty-handed. They brought 80 tons of granite, a contribution estimated at 1.5 million CFA francs.
This donation is earmarked for projects to improve public spaces in the region. "No one will build our country for us," noted Chief Naaba Sigri of Nandiala. A powerful reminder that the development of Burkina Faso rests first and foremost on the efforts of its own people.
The highlight of the ceremony was undoubtedly the first shovelful of earth turned by Naba Sigri. At 76 years old, the chief of Nandiala proved that building a modern and sovereign Burkina Faso knows no age limit. It is a call to all generations to get involved in the national project.
Upon receiving the donation, the deputy regional coordinator of Faso Mªbo, Captain Boubacar Compaor©, praised this exemplary mobilization. The governor's representative, Mr. Augustin Ou©draogo, congratulated the donors for their patriotic commitment and expressed his satisfaction with the visible progress of the work in the town. He therefore invited all stakeholders in the region to follow the example of Nandiala and all those who have already played their part.
