Police Trainees Donate 12 Tons of Cement and Labor to Faso Mªbo

Ouagadougou: More than 2,400 police trainees from the 55th class of the National Police School participated in the making and laying of paving stones from February 26 to 28, after donating 12 tons of cement to Faso Mªbo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this mobilization is part of the "96 hours of the police trainee," a series of civic activities initiated by the class to translate its patriotic commitment into concrete actions. On this occasion, the students donated 12 tons of cement as a contribution to the development and beautification work in the city of Ouagadougou.

From February 26 to 28, future National Police officers actively participated in the making and laying of paving stones on various construction sites of the presidential initiative Faso Mªbo. At the main site, some were busy collecting aggregates, sorting paving stones, and cleaning the molds used to make them. On Thomas-Sankara Avenue, another group worked hard laying the paving stones.

For the general delegate of the 55th class, Isidore Dabon©, this initiative responds to the national context in favor of increased citizen engagement in the building of the country. "This action aims to respond to the realities of the country, particularly to the call from the highest authorities. Through this gesture, we want to contribute to the building of the motherland," he said.

He added that the promotion intends to leave a significant mark in terms of renovation and development, in a context marked by the dynamics of progressive and popular revolution. For his part, the Secretary General of the National Police Academy, Waka Lou©, praised the students' commitment. He emphasized that the presidential initiative Faso Mªbo is a noble project deserving everyone's support.

"We appreciate the initiative of the 55th graduating class for what it is worth. Through this gesture, the students are concretely demonstrating their commitment to building the nation," he stressed. Placed under the theme "Building the homeland through action: 72 hours of civic action and patriotic commitment of the 55th class of the National Police School," this activity demonstrates the willingness of police trainees to put words into action by directly contributing to the development and beautification efforts of the Burkinabe capital.
