Bougouriba: The Diarkadougou Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS), located in the municipality of Bondigui, has appointed a new head. The Chief Medical Officer of the Diebougou health district, Fassal Nikiema, officially installed Sansan Aime Da as the new Head Nurse (ICP) on Monday, March 2, 2026.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was attended by the Secretary General of the Bondigui town hall, health workers, relatives, friends, and local health system actors who gathered to support the new major. The event was marked by a moment of silence in memory of the former CSPS major, Kam Olle, who passed away in November 2025. This gesture highlighted the health community's respect and recognition for Olle's contributions to the population.
Following the installation, the Chief Medical Officer urged the new official to remain committed to implementing the national health policy as directed by the authorities. Dr. Nikiema emphasized the importance of involving the population in health initiatives, consulting them, and ensuring their satisfaction to fulfill their mission successfully.
In his address, Sansan Aime Da expressed gratitude to the health authorities for their trust. He committed to working diligently, fostering teamwork and collaboration, to meet the objectives set by the Ministry of Health and enhance service quality for the people of Diarkadougou.
The ceremony concluded with participants offering congratulations and encouragement to the new major, who is now tasked with leading CSPS health activities with professionalism and a focus on public service, prioritizing the well-being of the population.
