Ouahigouya: Dr. Lassara Zala and the staff of the Persis Center have made a significant contribution to the Faso Mªbo Agency's Yaadga coordination by donating food and supplies.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation, valued at over 500,000 FCFA, consisted of 13 bags of rice, a fuel voucher worth 100,000 FCFA, two cans of cooking oil, five cans of motor oil, two bags of ochre, and a grinding stone. The donation was warmly received by the Faso-Mªbo regional coordination team, who expressed gratitude to the donors from the Persis Pediatric Medical-Surgical Centre, known for its quality pediatric care.
Dr. Lassara Zala, director of the Persis Center, stated that this donation is a direct response to the call from the President of Burkina Faso and his government for citizens to engage in community action for development. He emphasized that the gesture is a modest contribution to the progress of the Yaadga region and expressed hope that it would inspire others to support similar initiatives.
The Persis Center team, driven by a sense of purpose and pride, actively participated in community work, engaging in the making and collecting of paving stones for over an hour before resuming their medical duties.
