Ouagadougou: In her speech, the Association's president, Bibata Zida/Ouedraogo, recalled that this initiative, launched on March 28, 2025, during its first edition, aims to strengthen the bonds of fraternity and solidarity among members of the ministry. She welcomed the holding of this second edition, on March 18, 2026, which is part of a dynamic of continuity and strengthening of living together.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the Minister of Communication, Pindgwende Gilbert Ouedraogo, congratulated the Association for its dynamism and commitment. "You are a dynamic organization, and we will always be there to support you," he declared.
The Minister also paid tribute to the role of women in society, emphasizing that they embody strength and perseverance. He further encouraged the participants to promote the values of solidarity beyond the periods of fasting. "We shouldn't necessarily wait for the month of Ramadan to come together. We must constantly cultivate love, living together, and social cohesion," he urged.
This collective breaking of the fast provided an opportunity for the participants to share a convivial moment while reaffirming their commitment to peace and social cohesion in Burkina Faso.
