Banwa: The New Provincial Treasurer Promises to Work With Speed and Integrity

Banwa: The new provincial treasurer, Nameba Roland Sawadogo, promised to work with speed and integrity during his installation on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, in the Solenzo town hall reception hall.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the new provincial treasurer, appointed since October 2, 2025, was installed in his functions on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, after the handover with his predecessor, Emmanuel Ilboudo, who had held the position from February 8, 2021, until today.

After the installation of the new provincial treasurer by the high commissioner, Sanfienale Joseph Sirima, in front of the provincial directors and heads of service, the customary and religious authorities, Nameba Roland Sawadogo affirmed that he would prioritize the continued operation of the Banwa provincial treasury and also listen to partners such as pensioners, treasury correspondents, local authorities, and suppliers of the administration.

'Expectations are high, we know that, but rigorous accounting and adherence to sound financial practices will be our guiding principles. We will work with speed and integrity,' declared Nameba Roland Sawadogo, the newly appointed provincial treasurer.

In his address, Mr. Sawadogo requested the support of his superiors and the backing of the entire population of Banwa. The High Commissioner of Banwa Province, Sanfienale Joseph Sirima, thanked the regional treasurer and the participants for their presence at the ceremony.

After thanking the outgoing provincial treasurer Emmanuel Ilboudo for his open collaboration during his stay, the top provincial official congratulated the new one on his appointment to head the Banwa provincial treasury. Mr. Sirima reassured the new provincial treasurer of his willingness to support him in achieving the objectives assigned to him, while inviting him to be a good servant of the people.
