Collective Breaking of the Fast in Seguenega Promotes Fraternity and Unity

Yatenga/seguenega: The Basic Education District (CEB) of Seguenega 2 organized a collective breaking of the fast on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, in a spirit of fraternity and living together, AIB observed on site.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this event took place on the grounds of school 'A' and brought together Christians and Muslims around a common ideal of fraternity and living together better. The ceremony was attended by the two heads of the Basic Education Districts (C/CEB) of Seguenega, local authorities, and teachers.

The various speeches during the event underscored the significance of social cohesion and peace. Yacouba Guiro, vice-president of the special delegation, praised the CEB's dedication to promoting the values of fraternity and sharing. Representatives from the religious communities highlighted the importance of fostering religious tolerance and national unity.

Ousseni Ouarme, head of the Seguenega 2 basic education district (C/CEB), expressed satisfaction with the spirit that inspired the organization of this sharing event, which transcends religious boundaries. Participants shared a meal in a fraternal atmosphere, symbolizing hope and unity for a more united Burkina Faso.
