Barsalogho: Muslim worshippers in Barsalogho performed the Eid al-Fitr prayer on Friday under the leadership of Imam Kassoum Sor e, in a peaceful atmosphere marked by the resilience of the people, in the presence of municipal, administrative, customary authorities and other religious communities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, in his sermon, Imam Kassoum Sor e praised the gradual improvement of the security situation in the locality, thanks to the combined efforts of the defense and security forces (FDS) and the volunteers for the defense of the homeland (VDP). He invited the faithful to support these efforts through their behavior and to strengthen religious tolerance as well as social cohesion.

The chief of Barsalogho, Naaba Guiguemd e, addressed a message of peace and security to the Muslim community, praising the commitment of the people in this particular context. For his part, the PDS of Barsalogho, Sansan Mathias Pal e, expressed wishes of peace, health and security to the Muslim faithful of the commune. He also emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence and collective commitment in the reconquest of national territory.

The celebration continued within families, in a friendly atmosphere, demonstrating the solidarity and resilience of the inhabitants of Barsalogho.
