Solenzo Youth Commit to Upholding Progressive Revolution

Solenzo: The youth of the commune of Solenzo pledged to be guardians of the Popular Progressive Revolution (PPR) at the launch of the Revolutionary Youth on the March initiative on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the Solenzo Prefecture Square.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the youth of Solenzo, along with various directors, department heads, students, and the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), gathered for the launch of the initiative, which was chaired by Abdoul Kader KongZabre, the Secretary General of Banwa Province, representing the High Commissioner. A flag-lowering ceremony took place at 4 p.m., followed by the reading of a message from the Prime Minister by Mr. KongZabre, marking the provincial-level launch.

The initiative is designed to enable Burkinabe youth to embody their revolutionary commitment, encouraging them to work and live as revolutionaries, with each tool in hand serving as a weapon of conviction. The youth of Solenzo expressed their dedication to the Popular Progressive Revolution and voiced their opposition to imperialism and neo-colonialism.

The youth also condemned external interference in the affairs of the ESA, expressing their absolute rejection of aggression and pressure based on international injustice. The launch event concluded with a minute of silence for the deceased and a one-and-a-half-kilometer cross-country run, accompanied by aerobics in front of the prefecture.

Rodrigue Coulibaly, provincial coordinator of citizen watch, announced that several activities are planned to further educate and train the youth of Banwa Province for a successful revolutionary journey.
