Koti: The Koti Departmental High School (LDK) held a flag-raising ceremony on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, in Koti. This event marked the first phase of the 3rd edition of the Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC). The ceremony was attended by municipal authorities, heads of services, high school staff, and students.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was led by Lassinan Dierma, president of the special delegation of the commune of Koti. Following the raising of the colors, Alassane Lengani, the principal of Koti Departmental High School, delivered a message from the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore. The first phase of the 3rd edition of the JEPPC is themed "Food sovereignty and economic patriotism: together, let's cultivate our dignity through local production and consumption."
Lassinan Dierma encouraged the community to embrace the motto "My plate, my pride" by prioritizing the consumption of local products. He also emphasized the importance of students adopting patriotic behaviors and acting as intermediaries with their parents to ensure tax payments. This initiative aims to support the implementation of development projects within the municipality.
