Apostolic Church of Tanghin Calls for Divine Intervention Amidst National Struggles

Ouagadougou: On the occasion of the Easter festival at the Apostolic Church of Tanghin, religious leaders on Sunday offered prayers for the lasting return of peace, the strengthening of living together, and the protection of the population.

According to Burkina Information Agency, apostles Vincent Ilboudo and Etienne Bazie led the congregation in prayers, seeking divine grace for peace and protection for the people of Burkina Faso. They also implored for wisdom in the authorities' decisions towards national development. The religious leaders emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity, especially in the face of ongoing security challenges.

The Easter festival, celebrated as a symbol of life's victory over death, was highlighted as a beacon of hope for believers. The leaders encouraged the faithful to continue in prayer and adopt behaviors that foster social cohesion. A government delegation, including Minister of Basic Education Jacques Sosth¨ne Dingara and Minister Delegate for Animal Resources Amidou Dicko, attended the celebration, reflecting the authorities' support for the church's peace efforts.

Minister Dingara relayed greetings from President Ibrahim Traore and Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouedraogo, underscoring the significance of prayer in addressing national issues. The authorities acknowledged the Christian community's role in promoting peace and social cohesion, noting their spiritual support for defense and security forces working to stabilize the country.
