Namentenga: The Secretary General of the Namentenga Province, Karim Ismaël Thiombiano, launched the "Revolutionary Youth on the March" (JeRM) initiative on Thursday, April 2, 2026. On this occasion, he urged the population to take ownership of the activities to ensure their success.According to Burkina Information Agency, the initiative aims to encourage young people to engage in essential activities that contribute to the success of the Progressive and Popular Revolution (RPP). The Secretary General highlighted the Prime Minister's message, which calls on youth to actively participate in shaping the future of the region.Mr. Thiombiano emphasized the importance of community involvement in the JeRM activities to guarantee their effective implementation in Namentenga. The program includes public lectures on patriotic values, educational discussions on RPP ideals, awareness campaigns, and a quarterly day dedicated to revolutionary commitment.The launch also featured a popular cross-country race and an aero bics session, marking the beginning of the JeRM initiative's activities.
