Sandbondtenga: The new provincial director of Sports, Youth and Employment, Teganaba Willy, expressed on Friday in Kaya his desire to promote sport as a factor of social cohesion, to strengthen youth supervision, to promote youth employability, and to boost local initiatives through innovation and proximity to the population, during the handover ceremony.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Teganaba Willy was installed in his new position as provincial director of Sports, Youth and Employment by the high commissioner of the province of Sandbondtenga, Idrissa Gamsonre. Fully aware of the magnitude of his new responsibilities, the new director urged his colleagues to prioritize teamwork, professionalism, and a sense of duty. "This mission is ours. It cannot be carried by one person alone," he emphasized.
He also expressed his ambition to promote sport as a factor of social cohesion and health, to strengthen the guidance and development of youth, to promote youth employability, and to boost local initiatives through innovation and proximity to the population.
The High Commissioner of Sandbondtenga Province, Idrissa Gamsonre, invited the new provincial director of Sports, Youth and Employment to remain attentive to the concerns of an increasingly demanding youth. Mr. Gamsonre also urged the new director and his colleagues to demonstrate selflessness in order to earn the trust of the authorities.
Outgoing director Bakary Traore congratulated his successor while expressing his satisfaction at having served the province with commitment and loyalty for seven months and twelve days. He attributed the results obtained, which he considered satisfactory, to the involvement of all stakeholders, in a context marked by institutional reform.
The staff, through Boukare Ouedraogo, praised the work done by the outgoing director before assuring the new director of their full support in order to achieve even more convincing results.
