Seno: The municipal high school of Dori emerged victorious in the final of the Maracana tournament on Saturday, defeating the private high school Arba Diallo. This event marked the conclusion of the sports and cultural day organized by the Provincial Directorate of Secondary Education, Vocational and Technical Training (DPESFPT) of Seno.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was held under the theme "Sport and culture, keys to excellence of social cohesion and active citizenship in the establishments of the province of Seno". Participants experienced a sense of fraternity and conviviality throughout the competition. The initiative aimed to strengthen social cohesion, community spirit, and dialogue within the educational community.

In addition to the Maracana football tournament, the day featured athletics competitions and a petanque tournament. The event attracted students, supervisors, and educational leaders from schools in the city of Dori, who gathered to celebrate the values of solidarity and unity.

An exhibition area was set up to display products made by students in technical and vocational programs. This initiative showcased the students' skills and promoted vocational training to the public.

Organizers expressed satisfaction with the outcomes of the event and gratitude to all contributors. Daouda Ganou, the Secretary General of the Seno province, attended the event and praised its organization. He highlighted the revelation of sporting talents and the strengthening of social cohesion and community spirit within the educational world.

Through this sports and cultural day, the DPESFPT of Seno aims to consolidate links between schools and promote excellence, active citizenship, and fraternity in the educational community.
