Mouhoun: On the occasion of the Easter celebration, the President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the municipality of Safane, Ali Traore, visited local Christian communities, urging them to pray for peace, social cohesion, and support for the Defense and Security Forces (FDS).
According to Burkina Information Agency, the visit included stops at the Christian Alliance church, the Notre-Dame de la Paix parish, and the Assemblies of God church. This initiative is part of a broader effort to acknowledge the Christian faithful for their spiritual and social contributions.
During his visits, Ali Traore conveyed the appreciation of the nation's highest authorities to the Christian communities for their role in upholding values of peace and solidarity. He encouraged the faithful to increase their prayers for peace, social cohesion, and the stability of Burkina Faso.
A special plea was made for the Defence and Security Forces (FDS) to receive spiritual support in their mission to secure the territory and protect the population. The PDS expressed its commitment to supporting any initiative that contributes to the development of Safane and the country as a whole.
Religious leaders and worshippers received this initiative warmly, offering prayers for lasting peace in Safane and Burkina Faso. The Easter celebration at the Notre-Dame de la Paix parish featured the presence of the bishop of the diocese of Dedougou, Mgr Prosper Bonaventure Ki.
