Village of Dinkoro Contributes to Local Defense Efforts with Corn and Cash Donation

Solenzo: The village of Dinkoro has made a significant contribution to local defense efforts by donating 10 bags of corn and 200,000 CFA francs to the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) in their community.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation took place on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, and was aimed at supporting the VDPs who are actively involved in the defense of their village. The village chief, Sibiri Coulibaly, emphasized the importance of community support for the VDPs, stating, "Our children are doing such remarkable work and we must support them. Everyone has to fight the war in their own way and our way is to come to the aid of the VDP and the FDS with what we contribute and also with our blessings for the victory over the enemy."

Marou Ilboudo, the President of the Solenzo delegation, expressed gratitude towards the villagers of Dinkoro for their generous donation. He highlighted the need for unity and cooperation, noting that it is through cohesion and understanding that the village can progress and develop.
