Grand Chancellery of Burkinab¨ Orders Hosts Conference on National Symbols

Bougouriba: The Grand Chancellery of the Burkinab¨ Orders held a public conference on Thursday, April 9, 2026, in the Tougan multipurpose hall, focusing on the symbols of the Nation and patriotic and civic values. This event was part of the 3rd National Days of Patriotic Engagement and Civic Participation (JEPPC). The ceremony was presided over by the High Commissioner of the Sourou Province, Desire Badolo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, during this conference, the speaker, Dofini Watuanni Tamini, head of studies and planning for the institution and head of mission, structured his communication around the national emblem, the national anthem, the coat of arms, the motto, as well as civic and patriotic values.

The activity aimed to equip the population with the rules and conditions for using the symbols of the Nation. "There are rules for using the symbols of the Nation which we have explained. This will allow participants to improve their behavior towards these symbols and to become relays of the Grand Chancellery of the Burkinab¨ Orders," Tamini indicated.

One participant, Ms. Adeline Toe/Ki, expressed satisfaction with the content of the communication and pledged to relay the information to people who were unable to take part in the conference.

The High Commissioner of Sourou Province, Desire Badolo, thanked the Grand Chancellery of the Burkinab¨ Orders for choosing the province. He also congratulated the speaker on the quality of the discussions and encouraged the participants to put the lessons learned into practice in their daily lives.
