Ouagadougou: The presidential special envoy, Adama Kambone, extended his congratulations to the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) who are actively engaged in agricultural activities within the commune of Bagre. Kambone, serving as the mission officer for the Nakambe region at the Presidency of Faso, held a meeting on Wednesday with these volunteers to acknowledge their efforts and motivate them for future endeavors.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting was attended by Augustin Zongo, the first vice-president of the special delegation of Bagre, alongside the dedicated volunteers. During his address, Kambone urged the agricultural VDPs to effectively apply the knowledge obtained during their training sessions. He emphasized that this initiative is crucial to bolstering agricultural production, which is vital for enhancing food security in the region.
In his concluding remarks, the project manager, Kambone, expressed his appreciation for the involvement of the municipal authorities in the meeting and commended the agricultural VDPs for their commitment and readiness to contribute to the community's agricultural development.
