Boukary Nana Officially Takes Over as Provincial Director of National Police in Noumbiel

Noumbiel: Boukary Nana was officially installed as the provincial director of the National Police of Noumbiel during a handover ceremony on April 13, 2026. Appointed by the Council of Ministers at its meeting on April 2, 2026, Nana's ceremony was marked by themes of integrity, professionalism, discipline, collaboration, sharing, listening, and communication.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Chief Superintendent of Police Boukary Nana took over his new role under the auspices of the High Commissioner of Noumbiel Province, Drissa Hema. Nana succeeds Chief Superintendent of Police Rayangnewende Kabre, who has been reassigned to the same position in Bougouriba Province.

In his address, the newly appointed director expressed gratitude to the Lord and the authorities for their trust and committed to building on past achievements with a focus on professionalism, discipline, collaboration, and communication. He also sought the support of his superiors and local communities to achieve his objectives.

Drissa Hema, the High Commissioner of the province, thanked the outgoing director for his dedication, loyalty, and commitment, which helped him overcome numerous challenges. He advised the new director to focus on dialogue, active listening, and collaboration with all societal groups to accomplish his mission successfully.
