Loroum: With the cultural biennial just days away, participants from Loroum province are fine-tuning their preparations. The provincial director of Culture, Issaka Salgo, visited Titao on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, to assess the progress of the event.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Mamouna Kagon© is one of the ambassadors of the Yaadga region in culinary arts. On Thursday, April 15, 2026, she continued the exercises to further refine her strategy, which includes mastering the preparation method and the presentation of the dish to the jury. It was with a drink commonly called "Hara" that the candidate secured qualification for the final stages in September 2025 in Ouahigouya.

Ms. Kagon© presented the process of preparing the drink and indicated the nutritional values. "Hara is a drink made from millet, tamarind juice and baobab fruit," she explained. She noted that this drink is popular in Kurumba society during traditional celebrations.

"Our candidate was able to incorporate the jury's observations and we believe she will be able to properly represent the Yaadga region," reassured the provincial director of Culture, Issaka Salgo. He invited the sons and daughters of the region to support these ambassadors so that they could have the necessary resources to carry out the mission.

In addition to Ms. Kagon©, a second winner from the regional phases, Marie Pierre Niampa, is actively preparing in the same category to honor the same appointment.
