Bougouriba: The certification assessments for Non-Formal Education (NFE) for the 2026 session have commenced in the commune of Dolo. The event was officiated by the prefect and president of the special delegation (PDS), with important figures from the education sector in attendance.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the launch ceremony witnessed the presence of the head of the Basic Education District (CEB), educational supervisors, and promoters of literacy centers. Ilassa Ou©draogo, the PDS, initiated the tests by opening the first envelope, signaling the start of this session aimed at non-formal education learners.

For this session, Dolo has registered 61 candidates divided into two linguistic groups: 33 candidates in Jula language and 28 in Dagara language. The mayor commended the students for their dedication and acknowledged the efforts of educational supervisors in promoting non-formal education within the municipality. He urged the candidates to maintain composure and confidence during the exams.

The prefect, president of the special delegation, emphasized the significance of these assessments in enhancing basic skills and fostering educational inclusion among the population. Non-formal education plays a crucial role in adult literacy and empowerment, contributing to the socio-economic development of local communities.
