Niangoloko: The Niangoloko Municipal High School emerged victorious in the 16th edition of the city's inter-school tournament, defeating Santa High School 1-0 at the Niangoloko municipal field.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the opening ceremony featured performances of the Ditany¨ and the AES anthem, attended by local administrative, educational, and customary authorities. The event included speeches from Ousmane H©ma, the tournament promoter also known as "PM Ousbi H©ma," El Hadj Souleymane Soulama, the representative of the sponsor and former Minister of Transport, and Ouss©ni Ou©draogo, the president of the special delegation (PDS) of Niangoloko.

The match began with a joint kickoff by the PDS and the sponsor's representative. Supporters from both schools anticipated a high-quality game, and the teams delivered with strong physical and technical performances. Municipal High School dominated possession and secured the win with the only goal of the match.

The victory awarded Municipal High School a first prize of 300,000 CFA francs, along with a set of jerseys and two balls. Santa High School, finishing second, received 200,000 CFA francs, a set of jerseys, and two balls, while Ephraim Private High School, in third place, earned 100,000 CFA francs, a set of jerseys, and two balls.

Ousmane H©ma commended the strong engagement in this year's tournament and encouraged continued support for the competition, highlighting its role in promoting sport and fostering social cohesion among schools.
