K©n©dougou: The grand prayer marking the celebration of the Tabaski festival took place this Wednesday on the grounds of the Medersa school in Orodara, in the presence of the administrative authorities of the region. In his sermon, Imam El Hadj Abdoul Aziz Barro recalled the spiritual significance of Tabaski, a symbol of faith, submission to God, and sacrifice.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Imam El Hadj Abdoul Aziz Barro invited Muslim faithful to promote the cardinal values of Islam, including sharing, love of neighbor, solidarity, mutual aid, and forgiveness. The man of God also urged the people to preserve peace, social cohesion, and living together, in a context where unity and fraternity remain essential to strengthen harmony within communities.

Speaking after the prayer, the High Commissioner of the K©n©dougou province, Sadou Sakira, wished a happy Tabaski festival to all the Muslim faithful of the province. He invited them to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, to prioritize dialogue, and to work harder for peace, social cohesion, and the harmonious development of the province. The ceremony ended in an atmosphere of communion and blessings.
