Tuy/Tabaski 2026: Muslim Worshippers in Koti Urged to Respect the Values of Islam and Living Together

Sissili: Muslim worshippers in Koti, in the Tuy province, performed the Eid al-Adha prayer on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in a large turnout. Imam Ousman Ou©draogo called for respect for the values of Islam and peaceful coexistence.

According to Burkina Information Agency, early in the morning, Muslim believers flocked to various places of prayer to celebrate Eid-el-Kebir, commonly known as Tabaski. The gathering saw men, women, and children, adorned in boubous and traditional outfits, participating in the religious celebration in an atmosphere of fervor and communion.

After the prayer, Imam Ousman Ou©draogo addressed the congregation, inviting the faithful to respect the foundations of Islam, preserve human dignity, and live harmoniously within the community.
