Kaya: Traditional healer Amad© Kabor© has made a significant donation to the N©bi©lianayou Health and Social Promotion Center and to the orphans of the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP). On Sunday, May 24, 2026, Amad© Kabor©, a traditional healer from Pala, donated medical equipment and food supplies valued at 1,430,000 CFA francs. This charitable act was supported by the Association of Disabled Persons of Boulkiemd©.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the commune of N©bi©lianayou benefited from a timely donation addressing the critical shortage of hospital bedding, which had been affecting patient care. Kabor© donated ten new hospital beds to the Primary Health Care Center (CSPS) to alleviate this issue. Additionally, recognizing the needs of the VDP orphans, he contributed 20 bags of rice, weighing 25 kg each, to the families of the combatants.
Kabor© emphasized the importance of supporting health facilities, describing them as vital for every human being. He expressed his commitment to aligning with the government's vision of mobilizing resources for the development of local structures. This gesture was warmly received by health authorities, with Dr. Aboubacary Abdou, the district medical officer of L©o, expressing gratitude and surprise at the donation's magnitude. He noted that the new beds would significantly improve patient care.
Local authorities, including Sylvain N©bi©, the first vice-president of the municipality of N©bi©lianayou, also expressed their appreciation for this "strong social act." They called for national unity and encouraged community support to enhance essential sectors for the population's benefit.
Paul Yam©ogo, president of the associations of disabled people in Boulkiemd© province, contributed by donating a specially adapted bicycle for a person with a disability. Pema Neya, the representative at the Presidency of Faso for the Nando region, attended the ceremony to convey the Head of State's formal recognition to Kabor© for his ongoing support of development actions.
