Ouagadougou: The High Commission of the province of Koulp©logo hosted a meeting to establish the Provincial Council of Disabled Persons (CPPH) of Koulp©logo on Friday, June 5, 2026. Boureima Pafadnam was unanimously elected as president of the council, alongside a twelve-member team tasked with advocating for the interests of people living with disabilities and communicating their concerns to relevant authorities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was presided over by the High Commissioner of the province of Koulp©logo, Sadou Ou©draogo, who highlighted the State's intention to reorganize the representative structures for people living with disabilities to enhance their participation in developmental activities. Touknoogo Kangambega, the acting Provincial Director of Family and Solidarity, outlined the fundamental texts governing the establishment of this organization and guided the process of appointing the council members.

At the conclusion of the event, the High Commissioner congratulated the newly appointed council members and participants from various municipalities in the province. He praised the harmonious conduct of the meeting, which reflected a spirit of understanding and cohesion. Sadou Ou©draogo concluded the ceremony by advising the council members to maintain unity, responsibility, and commitment to ensure the council's proper functioning and address the concerns of people living with disabilities in Koulp©logo effectively.
