Koulp©logo: The Provincial Directorate of Secondary Education and Vocational and Technical Training (DPESFPT) of Koulp©logo has announced the results of the Junior High School Certificate (BEPC) examination for the 2026 session. According to Burkina Information Agency, the provincial director, Jacobe Segda, reported an overall pass rate of 56.89% after both rounds of examinations, a slight decrease from the previous session's pass rate of 63%.
A total of 1,002 candidates registered for the exam, comprising 566 girls and 436 boys. Of these, 972 candidates participated in the exam, with 30 candidates recorded as absent.
The first round of exams resulted in the direct admission of 383 candidates, a success rate of 39.40%. This group included 201 girls and 182 boys. The retake exams provided a second opportunity for 509 candidates, leading to an additional 170 candidates obtaining their diplomas. This brought the total number of successful candidates to 553, made up of 296 girls and 257 boys.
Jury statistics revealed that Ouargaye 1 led with a success rate of 62.96%, followed by Cinkans© 2 at 58.26%, Sangha 1 at 54.62%, and Cinkans© 1 at 50.85%.
The results emphasize the strong performance of the candidates in Koulp©logo, with more than half of the candidates successfully passing. The retake exams played a crucial role in allowing 170 additional candidates to achieve success. The province's pass rate of 56.89% reflects the ongoing efforts to enhance educational outcomes in Koulp©logo.
