Poni/Cep 2026 Results: The Lorop©ni CEB Records a Success Rate of 98.74%

Lorop©ni: The Lorop©ni Basic Education District (CEB) recorded a 98.74% pass rate in the 2026 Primary School Leaving Certificate (CEP) examination, with 785 out of 795 candidates passing. The results were announced this Saturday, June 13, 2026.

According to Burkina Information Agency, for this session, 820 candidates were registered, including 448 girls and 372 boys. In total, 795 candidates actually sat the exam, comprising 436 girls and 359 boys. Following the deliberations, 785 candidates were declared successful, corresponding to a success rate of 98.74%, compared to 97.96% in 2025.

Regarding gender statistics, 429 girls were admitted, representing a success rate of 98.39%, while 356 boys obtained their diploma, representing a rate of 99.16%. The CEB of Lorop©ni has 36 schools with CM2 classes. Among them, 32 achieved a 100% success rate.

The best result in the district was obtained by Modeste Youl, a student from the Lorop©ni Sector 3 school, with an average of 9.39/10, or 169 points out of 180. The head of the CEB, Casimir Kambou, praised these achievements, describing them as historic. He congratulated the successful candidates and expressed his gratitude to all those involved in the education system for their commitment.

He also invited the teachers who will be teaching the CM2 classes next year to start working now in order to maintain this momentum of success during the 2027 session. The President of the Special Delegation, Faon-Nignin¨ Jean Damasc¨ne Som©, congratulated the teachers, students, and parents for these results. He reaffirmed the municipality's commitment to supporting education stakeholders to consolidate achievements and meet the challenges of the sector.
