Sapouy: The written tests for the 2026 baccalaureate session officially commenced in the province of Ziro, with a total of 591 candidates participating. These candidates are distributed across two juries situated in Sapouy.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner of Ziro province, Saba Zorom©, initiated the examination process by opening the first envelope of subjects for jury 349 at the Municipal High School of Sapouy. This jury is particularly designated for candidates in series D. Accompanied by his team, Saba Zorom© visited various examination halls, offering words of encouragement and success wishes to the candidates.
During his visit, Mr. Zorom© urged the candidates to maintain a sense of serenity, focus, and dedication to achieve results that align with the province’s ambitions. He reminded them of the outstanding performances recorded in the CEP and BEPC 2026 and expressed hope that Ziro would continue to rank among the best provinces in the region.
According to Augustin Tiono, Head of the Examinations and Competitions Department and representative of the Provincial Director of Secondary Education and Vocational and Technical Training of Ziro, there has been a slight decrease in the number of candidates compared to the previous session. This year, the province of Ziro has 591 candidates, comprising 304 boys and 287 girls, divided between the two juries in Sapouy.
The initial tests proceeded smoothly under the supervision of both administrative and educational authorities.
