Koulp©logo: The written exams for the 2026 baccalaureate session commenced in the commune of Cinkans©, initiated by the High Commissioner of Koulp©logo Province, Sadou Ou©draogo. The province has recorded a total of 413 registered candidates, comprising 223 boys and 190 girls, and an attendance rate of 96.85%.
According to Burkina Information Agency, statistics from the Directorate of Secondary Education reveal that 400 candidates, including 213 boys and 187 girls, appeared for the exams. Thirteen candidates were absent, with the absence tally being 10 boys and 3 girls, reflecting an absence rate of 3.15%.
The official launch occurred at the Cinkans© examination center at the Saint-Antoine de Padoue high school. The event included the opening of the first envelope containing exam questions by Sadou Ou©draogo, attended by administrative, educational, military, and paramilitary authorities.
The ceremony was attended by the provincial director of Secondary Education, Vocational and Technical Training (DPESFPT), Jacob Segda, along with prefects, jury presidents, educational supervisors, and several officials from the decentralized services of the State.
Sadou Ou©draogo addressed the candidates, encouraging them to approach the exams with calmness and confidence, ensuring them that the questions would be based on the knowledge gained throughout the school year. He emphasized the importance of adhering to exam rules, particularly the prohibition of mobile phones and other prohibited equipment, and urged candidates to exhibit discipline, responsibility, and integrity.
Jacob Segda, the provincial director of Secondary Education, Vocational and Technical Training, also advised the candidates to rely on their efforts and to avoid any fraudulent activities to maintain the examination’s credibility.
At the Cinkans© center, 326 candidates are participating in the exams in a disciplined and serene environment, owing to the organizational efforts by the administrative and educational authorities. Through the mobilization of various stakeholders, Koulp©logo province aims to ensure optimal conditions for the candidates’ success in this significant academic endeavor.
