Passor©: The written exams for the 2026 baccalaureate officially began on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, in the province of Passor©. A total of 2,065 candidates, including 1,069 girls and 996 boys, are competing for the coveted diploma that opens the doors to higher education.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the exams have been taking place since June 23, in accordance with the national school exam schedule. The official launch of the tests took place at the Toussaint-Louverture municipal high school in Yako under the chairmanship of the High Commissioner of the province of Passor©, Daouda Sangar©.

Surrounded by secondary school officials, administrative authorities, and defense and security forces, the High Commissioner opened the envelope containing the first exam, thus marking the effective start of the exams in the province. On this occasion, Mr. Sangar© encouraged the candidates and invited them to demonstrate serenity, discipline, and confidence in their abilities.

He also urged them to prioritize merit and personal effort, while scrupulously respecting the rules governing the exam. The provincial director in charge of secondary education in Passor©, for his part, reassured everyone about the measures taken to ensure the smooth running of the exams in the various juries of the province.
