K©n©dougou: Banzon’s PDS Applauds the Recovery Performance

K©n©dougou: The special delegation of the municipality of Banzon held its second extraordinary session of the year this Thursday, June 25, 2026, in the town hall's reception hall. The PDS (Delegation for Social Development) commissioned the tax collection efforts of its agents.

According to Burkina Information Agency, at the opening of the proceedings, the president of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Banzon, Si© Poda, congratulated the technical services and the communal actors for the efforts made in mobilizing the commune's own resources. He particularly welcomed the revenue generated by the impound lots, which already amounts to 3,182,200 FCFA, reflecting, according to him, an improvement in the collection of municipal revenue.

Addressing the issue of agricultural inputs, the head of the departmental agricultural service, Gr©goire Moss©, indicated that the municipality has already received 177.3 tons of NPK fertilizer and 120 tons of urea intended for agricultural producers. He specified that subsidized prices are set at 15,000 FCFA for small producers and 17,000 FCFA for large producers.

The PDS also expressed its satisfaction with the results achieved in the education sector. It commended the various educational stakeholders for the performance achieved in the 2026 school examinations. The success rates for the CEP and BEPC are respectively 97.67% and 73.24%, results considered very encouraging and among the best in the K©n©dougou province.
