Ouagadougou: The provincial director of the National Police (DPPN) of Noumbiel, Chief Commissioner of Police Boukary Nana, carried out a field visit on Monday, June 22, 2026, to observe the effectiveness of Operation Wibga2 in the province of Noumbiel and to encourage the agents involved in its implementation.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the operation was launched on April 28, 2026, by the Ministry in charge of Security, prompting Chief Commissioner of Police Boukary Nana to visit several strategic areas within the province. The purpose of this visit was to gain a firsthand understanding of the conditions experienced by the deployed personnel and to motivate them to continue their vigilance in ensuring the safety of both people and property.
During his visit, the Chief Commissioner took the opportunity to congratulate and motivate the personnel in the field, providing them with operational guidance and emphasizing the importance of open collaboration with the defense and security forces. At each location, Mr. Nana engaged with the mobilized forces, commending their commitment and discipline, while offering specific guidance to enhance the execution of their mission.
He urged citizens to cooperate fully with the defense and security forces and to adhere to the orders and instructions of officers operating in the field, reinforcing the collaborative effort needed to ensure safety and security in the region.
