Como©: The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the commune of Niangoloko, Ouss©ni Ou©draogo, handed over, on Monday, July 6, 2026 in Koutoura, a large batch of agricultural equipment to the agricultural Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) of the commune, in order to strengthen their production capacities within the framework of the agro-sylvo-pastoral offensive.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony took place on the Koutoura production perimeter, in the presence of local officials, including the president of the Village Development Council (CVD) and village notables. The donated equipment consists of seed drills, electric sprayers, manual sprayers, and seeds. This donation was made by the National Union of Seed Producers' Cooperative Societies of Burkina Faso (UNPS-B), through the National Bureau of Major Projects of Burkina Faso (BN-GPB).
On this occasion, the PDS of Niangoloko urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of this equipment in order to increase their agricultural yields and contribute effectively to achieving food self-sufficiency, in accordance with the vision of the highest authorities of the country. He also invited them to redouble their efforts to make the commune of Niangoloko a reference in agricultural production supported by the VDP.
Following the handover, Ouss©ni Ou©draogo visited the production area. This immersion allowed him to discuss the realities on the ground with the producers, provide them with practical advice, and consider quick solutions to the difficulties encountered.
