Toussiana Officials Reflect on President’s Speech During National Colors Ceremony

Houet: The President of the Special Delegation of the Commune of Toussiana, Comrade C©cile Zabsonr©/Dabon©, presided, this Tuesday, over the traditional ceremony of raising the national colors at the Toussiana police station, in the presence of the vital forces and constituted bodies of the commune.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event saw the participation of municipal authorities, heads of services, religious leaders, Defense and Security Forces (FDS), and Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP). The gathering was marked by a collective display of patriotism as attendees rallied around the national colors.

During the ceremony, the President of the Special Delegation revisited key points from the message delivered by the Comrade President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©. The message commemorated the second anniversary of the Confederation of Sahel States (AES) and emphasized the achievements made during the Alliance's two years of existence.

The speech outlined the primary challenges ahead, such as maintaining collective self-defense, pursuing economic integration and social cohesion, advancing industrialization, achieving energy and food sovereignty, and promoting local transformation of wealth. Additionally, it highlighted the importance of strengthening the free movement of people and goods and the pooling of scientific, technological, educational, and industrial capacities.

In her concluding remarks, Comrade C©cile Zabsonr©/Dabon© urged all participants to adhere to the ideals of the People's Progressive Revolution. She also extended her wishes for a happy July to everyone present.
