Training Initiative Aims to Enhance Skills of Hotel Room Attendants in Bobo-Dioulasso

Ouagadougou: The Association for the Development of Culture and Tourism of Bobo-Dioulasso (ADCT-B) has inaugurated a training session for hotel room attendants in the city. This initiative seeks to improve service quality and boost the city's appeal as a tourist destination.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Comrade Plagie Traor/Sonda, president of ADCT-B, emphasized the importance of professionalism among room attendants in maintaining the city's reputation for cultural richness and hospitality. She highlighted the role of room attendants as vital to a hotel's reputation, ensuring guest hygiene, comfort, and safety.

Comrade Traor outlined that the training will introduce participants to modern cleaning techniques, professional practices, eco-friendly maintenance, and customer relations skills. She stressed the importance of valuing room attendants' work, noting its direct impact on visitor satisfaction and the local economy.

The commitment of trainers and hotel managers to invest in staff development was commended by Comrade Traor. She encouraged active participation from attendees and officially commenced the training session, wishing it success.
