Zogor©: Education Stakeholders Explore Avenues for Inclusive and Quality Education

Zogor‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬°: The Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB) of Zogor© Alila Kafando and his collaborators held an information meeting on August 3 with the presidents of the school councils in the context of the upcoming opening of the "Accelerated Schooling Strategy" centers in primary (SSA/P) in all the villages of the commune, AIB observed.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting aimed to inform parents about the authorities' plans to open SSA/P centers, commonly known as bridging centers, and to develop strategies for recruiting students. This government initiative, led by the Network for Social Promotion (Re Pro So), aims to integrate children aged 9 to 13 who are out of the classroom through intensive courses to facilitate their entry into the education system.

The authorities' vision has been duly praised, as the security situation has led to many school dropouts. Approximately 500 children will be enrolled for the upcoming school year in the Zogor© district.

The representatives of the parents of the students have pledged to support the initiative because it removes a thorn in their side.
