Guiriko: Three Ministers Encourage Conscripts to Participate in Patriotic Immersion in Bobo-Dioulasso

Guiriko: A government delegation composed of the Ministers of Basic Education, Jacques Sosth¨ne Dingara, Secondary Education, Moumouni Zoungrana, and Energy, Yacouba Zabr© Gouba, visited students participating in the mandatory patriotic immersion program at the Accart-Ville High School in Bobo-Dioulasso on Friday. The delegation took part in the flag-raising ceremony before speaking with the students to encourage them to make the most of this civic and patriotic training.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Minister of Secondary Education, Comrade Moumouni Zoungrana, expressed his satisfaction with the initial results observed at the various sites visited. "We are delighted to see the change taking place in such a short time. This is proof of the professionalism and dedication with which the work is being carried out," he declared, while thanking the supervisors.

Addressing the recruits, he urged them to cultivate patriotism, dignity, courage, and solidarity in order to contribute to Burkina Faso's positive image. He stated that this immersion program would allow the young people to better understand their country and its institutions, and to awaken the civic values that lie dormant within them. He expressed his hope that the participants would become role models within their communities upon completion of the training.

For the Minister in charge of Basic Education, Comrade Jacques Sosth¨ne Dingara, this visit is part of a mission entrusted by Comrade Captain Ibrahim Traor© to bring the government's support to the conscripts.

He indicated that this mandatory patriotic immersion prepares future students for a new stage of their lives by developing self-improvement, camaraderie, unity, civic-mindedness, love of country, and a sense of responsibility. "The government is doing everything possible to ensure that this training helps to make these young people leaders, responsible citizens, and patriots for years to come," he stated.

Through this visit, the government delegation reaffirmed the authorities' commitment to supporting the success of the mandatory patriotic immersion, presented as a lever for strengthening civic and citizen values among Burkinabe youth.
